CanWES T-Shirt Fundraiser - Help CanWES rebuild their school in Nepal!
The Canadian World Education Society (CanWES) is a registered nonprofit Canadian organization that is committed to improving access and overcoming barriers to education in developing regions.
CanWES is currently the sole contributor to a school that CanWES built and maintains in the remote village of Sanitar, Nepal. Operational costs are approx. $30,000 per year and include paying salaries for 18 staff, assisting 250 students with supplies, tuition, and uniforms, and as well as building/classroom maintenance.
Due to recent earthquake activity in Nepal, the two main buildings at the school will need to be rebuilt at a cost of approximately $65,000.
The purchase of one of these t-shirts supports CanWES in their efforts to raise the funds to rebuild these classrooms and support the demand for quality education for children and youth in rural Nepal. Please note: 100% of the the profits from this fundraiser will go directly to CanWES and the t-shirts are only printed, distributed, and billed for if at the end of the 3 week campaign a minimum of 50 shirts are purchased, so spread the word!
