Angel Arms Rescue is a non profit, volunteer based rescue. All of our animals are in foster homes, we do not have a shelter that house our animals. We rely on our committed and loving foster homes to let us know what type of forever home our animals would be best adopted out too (cat/dog friendly, kid friendly, etc).
We are based out of Listowel, ON but have foster homes spread throughout Southwestern Ontario ie. Kitchener, Stratford, London, Guelph, Toronto, Hanover, Port Elgin, etc.
Currently we accept dogs and cats into our rescue and they arrive from high kill shelters (in and out of province), owner surrenders, animal controls and other shelters. Recently, we've teamed up with a rescue in South Korea and are bringing over dogs from the meat trade.
Our animals are all spayed/neutered and brought up to date on vaccinations. They receive other necessary vetting (dental, hernia repair, skin conditions, etc) as required. We rely solely on monetary donations to help cover the costs of vetting as our adoption fees do not fully recover the vetting requirements of our animals.
