Ottawa Fire Service Habitat for Humanity Team Trinidad
In April 2017, members of the Ottawa Fire Service will be taking part in my second Habitat for Humanity Build in Trinidad and Tobago. Habitat for Humanity has been tackling housing poverty since 1997 in Trinidad and the number of housing units needed for low-income families exceeds 70,000. The economic pressures and lack of suitable housing has greatly contributed to the growing problems of crime and drug use and has become extremely detrimental to the economy and society as a whole.
The Ottawa Fire Service Habitat for Humanity Team is passionate about helping those in need and look forward to another successful build. Thank you for all your support!
